This must be better than drugs.....

Septa buses has this stained metallic stylings similar to the ones you see in Zion(The Matrix) or even 12 Monkeys. To cap that, most of the passengers are blue collar workers, poor retirees and hapless interns. All these people unfortunately dress like the inhabitants of an improvished world(Read baggy clothes with odds stains). In the end, the bus does look like an mobile asylum for lunatics. And to add to that context, the passengers (driver included) do behave in really outlandish ways as the lenght of the journey takes it toil.

Trying to justify the photo...... I might be mad too, two nuts??

Thats it, its the end.... Darkness is engulfing me, the song of the abyss becomes more tempting as the bus driver completes his 3rd mounted crub of the journey.

At this point, I start to hear faint voices of my ancestors calling out to me...

The head rings of nothingness

God.. I am gonna puke.... damn driver miss his prozac dose

Yes its here!.... and here you have the worst seat to sit in a bus in winter its behind the door and the wind rushes in! *shiver*

Head up...at least the weather looks more cheerful now...

Head bended.... bus ... bus...

An empty road... nice place to be around at night.. :P

Comeoon WHERE IS THE BUS?
Posted by Hello

1 ... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6.... 7.... no bus in the distance

Complete BOREDOM.. Guess what is this?

An ancient bicycle lying at the back door of my office. Seems like it had being ther for quite some time, the dead grass on it probably grew around the area and died when they build a staircase over it.

This is sharpest pic I had taken so far with the camera. I guess the overcast skies helped as the photo did not turn out overexposed.

Today, I sneaked off in the afternoon to have a walk on the hill behind my office. Took quite a number of photos but unfortunately, I did not have time to edit the landscape photos so I did up the macro closeups instead since they were easier to look nicer.. :P. This was a dying leave on a tree. The weather was recovering from rain and lightning wasn't that fantastic but still the wonders of photoshop!

duck or geese? well you can see the legs!
Posted by Hello

finally these pair swam together and were apparently feeding on something under water... larvae?
Posted by Hello

A close up of a geese or is it duck?!
Posted by Hello

I got closer and this was the view of the boat houses, some oarsmen were trying to get their canoes back in.

Ducks and Geese again

This is just beside the previous scene. The river is probably quite polluted from the looks of the algae growing there. Or it could be that this section of the river is simply stagnant. Whatever it is, this is a pretty "green" river.
Posted by Hello

As I cycled along, I chanced upon this scene, the geese were probably eating worms that came out for fresh air after the soil was saturated with water.

another reflection photo, really nice!

the reflection of the bridge in the river
Posted by Hello

this was a reflection of one of the buildings in the river.. hazy.. don't think I know what that building is
Posted by Hello

Then I started cycling towards fairmount, unfortunately, it started raining heavily and I have to stop under this bridge.. even so you see joggers running pass, really a bunch of determined people..

Got off to send a parcel to juliana after lunch.. this is the view of the eagle near the post office

My shot at architecture. Doesn't seem to frame right or it could be that the architect had plain bad taste putting a ugly rectangular structure beside the Jon Huntsman Hall wheel. Still this is one of the newest buidling in Wharton and certainly looks a lot grander than Biz Ad in NUS. I should find another vantage point to capture its grandness soon.

Another view as I was waiting for my food. This is a church, name I don't know. Should find out before I go away from this place. Notice that one of the trees in the picture has started turning yellow, yes fall is coming... but it doesn't seem to be as nice as what the seniors described to me. Maybe it just isn't time yet. Lets hope the trees don't go botak before I see them in their autumn glory...

another view of the food truck. All food trucks are desinged in this way. Blockly, silver paint, and around the same size. And it is probably burning hell inside the trucks during summer.

The afternoon lunch crowd.. what you see on the left is Yue Kee, the only edible Chinese food truck I had encountered so far. Today is brinjals with beef. Yeah they are so good that they converted me over to eating brinjals something which I refused to touch for a long time...

Yes it looks nice but is actually a hard ride

The 5:40 bus to Chadds Ford... Septa buses look bad on the outside and are even worse to ride in
Posted by Hello

180 degrees around, you will see the road to my office, seems like it leads into a forest which it basically is.. more photos when I get home
Posted by Hello

up the hill, turn right, a wawa which provides me with morning subtanence at times...
